Received the Sasaki Yoshikazu Award at the 14th High School/Technical College Meteorological Observation Equipment Contest
The development and practical applicability of our low-cost underwater observation system using an autonomous profiling float were recognized.

The low-cost underwater observation system (autonomous profiling float) developed by AquaWiz received the Sasaki Yoshikazu Award at the 14th High School/Technical College Meteorological Observation Equipment Contest.
This system was designed for environments such as lakes and coastal areas where continuous observation is needed to understand environmental changes, yet equipment costs often become a barrier. In addition to capturing environmental data such as temperature and pressure at different depths, it can also acquire underwater video, and we emphasized designing it to be operable from preparation through recovery.

Through repeated prototyping and field testing, we have progressively improved the pressure-resistant structure, reliability of the data acquisition system, and ease of operation. These efforts led to this award.
